The Refuge is a purposeful group of Christ followers set on Mission guided by the Holy Spirit. We exist to be known by God and live a mission driven life to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We set about fulfilling this vision growing in His word, being Disciples of Christ making disciples who make disciples. The DNA of The Refuge is multiplication of sustainable missionaries on mission to reproduce disciple making disciples who continue that mission throughout our city, state, country, and ends of the earth. We recognize that many unconvinced have a barrier to conventional church and see great potential for a “Refuge” where some may come to know Him. Our model looks a lot like the early church where meetings are small with greater impact to disciple people to become leaders through their God given talents, strengths, and giftedness. The core DNA is missional in that we share God’s word, grow in God’s word, multiply in numbers, and send on mission.
